We were very pleased with his work. Brendan was great in terms of giving us ideas about things, and advising us as well on good quality floors and where we could get them.
Brendan put down semi-solid wooden floors in the whole house, upstairs and downstairs.
We got three quotes in total. First of all, Brendan gave us a good quote and also we just liked him as a person. We trusted him and he just seemed very nice and professional.
We kind of knew what we wanted.
Brendan was great in terms of giving us ideas about things, and advising us as well on good quality floors and where we could get them. Originally, we were thinking of sourcing them from Germany where we could have got them for a good price. Brendan saw the floors we'd picked, and he said we could get a better floor from a certain shop in Dublin for a better price. So in the end we went with the floor he recommended and we were very happy with it.
He had good ideas as well in terms of the work. How to do the staircase for example, he did a good job there.
Good. We were very pleased with his work. I really don't have anything to complain about. We would have liked Brendan to stay on at for a couple of days the end because we decided to do the kitchen as well, but he didn't have time to do that, because he was booked into another job.
The stairs, definitely! They look really special.
It was his overall advice on things and his creativity in some ways as well. He had good ideas in terms of design.
I would definitely recommend Brendan. And I would definitely get him to do another job for us if it arose.
